....wish to have a FIDE profile that can actually tell my progress and motivates me in becoming a good player.
For this, you don't need a FIDE rating. Even your rating here at Chess.com can help you determine if you are getting better.

Yeah true but I think its good to have an official rating.
Sure. But for what purpose? You only mentioned wanting to monitor your progress.
@Luft - I've been playing there for almost 1 year. Haven't run into a single cheater yet,
Using that special cheat detector software again?

thats overquestioning!
I look at your games and you are at 1800 FIDE, not bad! It is good strength level and above average level.
thanks.
i guess you want to say that i fall in both beginner and pre-intermediate category!! thats funny ... i have a stable rating status at chess.com so i dont agree with you ... 1700 is a very tough player for a 1500rated,
Did you see what FIDE did? I just got a note from NewArdweaden that they closed rating progress graph on fide website for publicity. Fckn cnts...
You have to be member of FIDE Arena to see it... Wtf.
It's hard to get a good comparison. Do you play rated people OTB even in unrated games? That could give an indication of your strength. Online ratings tend to be inflated between 300-200 points though they do fluctuate wildly from much lower to around the same as one's real rating.

He's not saying that in some games you play like a 1500 and in others you play like a 1700. He's saying that he estimates that your FIDE rating would be somewhere between those two figures. His estimation is clearly low though. There is no chance you would be as low as 1500.
I'll post the link again. Despite this thread being somewhat old I can't see any better way of you estimating your playing stregnth.

you underrated me! 1500 is a ntohing player for me! i have checked few games of rated FIDE players ranging from 1700-2000 (standard time control) by considering those games i guess i should fall between 1750-1850FIDE.

Go away and think about what you just said. It isn't the first stupid comment that you've made. I believe that your username is highly misleading.

You could try Fide Online Arena : the ratings there are close to real FIDE ratings.
The comparison between chess.com's and FIDE's rating is more difficult.
