Look at your rank rather than your rating. If you're in the top half, that's good. If you're in the top quarter, that's decent.
When you start it takes a while for your rating to settle down. Having a quick look at your record you seem to have started well; but there were a couple of games in which your opponent left after a few moves which artificially boosts the stats. Getting involved in some of the tournaments; where people tend to play more seriously and you are put in groups of players of a similar rating will give you a better idea of your skills.
Personally I play in the 1200-1400 category, win enoough games to get into the 1400-1600 category, then get beaten badly and drift back into the lower group. I think this cycle has happened about three or four times!!!
I am new to this site and would like to know what a decent rating is.
