A good rating for every player is 100 points above your current

Good rating after playing 8 years? Depends on how seriously you took chess. If you took chess seriously, your rating should be ~1600 right now or more.

And I believe I could push it to 1600 thats probably my peak

Nah ur rating should be at least like 2000
