Anything other than a book about it where I dont have to pay but can still learn?

You get what you pay for.

There are some things that I can learn without paying, I just would like to know any other free tool I could use.

Like I said, you get what you pay for.  You are not going to get a detailed book for free (without piracy).  You are not going to get a coach to work with you for free.  Sure, you might find a tactics trainer (LiChess or ChessTempo) that is free, but they are random and will not focus on what you need to focus on to improve.
