I would suggest that you play, there's still a chance that you will win/draw some, plus lots of people play when they're sick.
I've had the flu and still drawn/won plenty of times, not saying that the games were at their usual standard, but it's worth trying.

It doesn't take any thinking to write threads, but I guess I'll stick it out for a while.
How bad is your illness ? Are you missing work because of it ?
It started just in time to ruin my weekend. If I'm not feeling any better I'll call in sick tomorrow. It's probably just a severe cold.
Getting worse.
I've got a crappy case of the flu, which is going to cause me to play even WORSE than usual. So what would you do in this case? Just go ahead, and resign all my tournament games, or lose them all cause I feel like crap? They are No vacation tournaments.
