well for white ig i would play london system or queens gambit but I'm not that high rated so you might want to ask some higher rated players

Apparently, everyone is going with the Ponziani Opening half the time this weekend. 

i play scotch for white, and french for black

Im not very high rated so I whatever i would suggest would probably be like trash to you guys

I play the Scotch as well 

They all have pro's and cons, and they all have unique aspects. There is no best opening Imo

but there are good openings

there are good openings and there are bad openings, but there is no best opening. That is my thesis
