BEST ANSWER: Impractical.
Still want a better answer though.
serious comment:
A shame; a 2100ish USCF rated does not know who is a SuperGM and who is a GM
It was obviously a challenge for other members. The only person who could tell us the difference would be a GM himself.
Super GMs and Superman wear their underwear outside the pants to distinguish them from normal GMs and normal men.
Aren't underwear and pants the same....
Jeez...NO - Underwear and pants are NOT the same thing.
You know that T-Shirt you wear under that button down shirt?
You know those tighty-whiteys, color briefs, boxer-briefs, or boxers you wear to cover your a$$?
That's Underwear!
Pants? They are the things you wear on the bottom half of you that covers the entire leg. You have denim pants (also known as Jeans), dress pants that are usually either Khaki, Dark Blue, Black, or Gray and can be flat front or pleated (if you want to live in the 90s, wear pleated, otherwise, wear flat, it's better), and other types that you could wear to bed, like lounge pants!
Pants and Underwear are NOT the same thing! Don't know what clown gave you that idea!

Obviously I was joking with my previous post on this, the definition over there is different. This post that you just made however, is unbelievably ignorant. It's people like you that give Americans a bad reputation.
R_N_A: to give an idea of what kind of answer you have in mind, could you describe to us the difference between an expert and a master? Or between a 1600 and an 1800?
In general, I think the difference really is that the higher rated player has the same stuff, only more of it. More patterns. More opening theory. Better endgame technique. Better visualization and calculation. Fewer hanging pieces. I strongly suspect the same is true of any 200 point rating difference, regardless of whether you're comparing 1500 vs 1700 or 2500 vs 2700.
At any rating level X, you will naturally have some players who are above average at opening theory but below average at spotting tactics, or something like that. But for any given area of chess knowledge/ability, the average player of rating X+200 will have more of it than the average player of rating X. You can't narrow things down to "the difference between 1600 and 1800 is in opening theory" or "the difference between 1800 and 2000 is in endgame knowledge" or "the difference between 2000 and 2200 is in piece activity".
I think NM Bramplyspan is correct,
In addition it also might be the pro-amateur difference. In some parts of the world, like Norway, 2500 isnt enough to make a living from chess. 2700 is enough. The professional chessplayer can spend more time rehearsing chess than the amateur that has a fulltime job outside chess.
Another difference is age. Most 2700s are some years older than they were when they had 2500. And some 2500s have gone over the top and are older than they were in their strong 2700 days.

Does my wearing pants under my boxers make it an underwear... ...? If yes... That means superman ain't wearing any pants but two underwear.. .. If no.. then why can't anything worn under be called underwear....?
Underwear are one of the top ten players in the world. Pants have scored 2 or 3 GM norms in international tournaments, or won the World Junior, Senior or Women's championship.
What's the difference between a Super GM and a GM? Post your thoughts here.
super GM has 2750+ FID rating

GM means the person has 3 GM norms and 2500+ FIDE
Congratulations to Robert for keeping my peasants busy with stupid easy questions their brain can't answer, it would be horrible if they were intellectual enough to question my government, I would have to take the Chess.com mods approach if that were to happen.

Just trying to stay on topic!
Only 40 GM's are able to be called Super GM's.

You really can't believe it? It's just a miracle of epic proportions that such a display of ignorance could happen?
Appropriate chess development prior to age 14 yr.
(Now, don't go asking what makes "appropriate chess development").
