What's up with all the "expert" players?

Seems like when I'm against anyone who's even slightly ahead of me in rankings, I'm lucky to get one game in.  Win or lose, it's one and done.

Players that are quite a bit below me, I'm fine with playing multiple times.  Most

of the time, they accept rematches.  But if I get a rematch from someone who's 50 points ahead, it's few and far between.

Anyone?

Good point, hakkyakky28 - however, what about simply changing your settings to only accept games from > 100 points within your range?  I mean, why are you spending your time w/people < 100 points lower rated than you anyway?  What do you want the outcome to be?  What do you do if the other player wins?  Do you then accept a rematch?  If so, why not accept a rematch if you win?  I don't mean to be sarcastic - I'm just trying to figure out what the logic is.

Not to hakkyakky28's point, but just now I played a player 1350+ and the player beat me in the first game.  To the contrary, the player accepted a rematch and I won the next two games.  I offered a friend request and the player denied a friend request.  Again - it seems there's some kind of weird "ranking" thing going on.  And, IMHO at ~1300 rankings this is just plain silly.

Does anyone have a recommendation for a more friendly environment?  I've been trying to play my friends on chess.com, and that's what I should do.  I would like some recommendations from anyone.  IMHO chess.com is not a friendly environment to play chess (as I have been playing it).  It's my own fault for not seeking out friendlier games - however, I think this is one area where chess.com could greatly improve --- enabling people to play other nice people.  Maybe I'm missing some sort of chess players club or something that's online which I would have more fun in playing.

Thanks
