So I have recently tilted from 2410-2220, a 190 point tilt! My biggest ever. Now this was becuase of smth that happened irl to me personally, but still gonna be a long way up again.What's ur highest tilt?

Recently I've watched chessbrah playing colle system set up against 2100-2300 he lost like two games and drew one !!! And mind you it's a relatively young GM with a rating 3000 blitz !! Or 2900+ to be exact! That's like 800-900 points differences in strength!

No wonder I was having hard time in this particular rating range. I would say 2400+ it's much easier to play because you actually playing someone 2400+

Also if you REALLY want to loose rating fast , try playing any chess.com tournaments, where 1200, 1400.and 1600 will just destroy you with there speed and skills haha true story , done that. On a bright side I have 20+ gold medals won ! Hard work , very hard work , especially playing those 13, 14 hundred people.

YEA, dude I try playing the Thursday event every week and I find some absolute gms rated like 1900 and I just cant compete and end up leaving after 5 rounds with like 30 rating points lost. How these dudes are not like 2000+ is beyond me

true lol. My biggest weakness is underestimating those 2200s. There are really some hidden gems. I underestimate them like they are much worse than me and I get destroyed lol. I just need a lucky string of games where I don't get hidden GMs to get back to 2400 and hopefully go to 2500 from there lol🙏

When I'm on tilt (usually in bullet), I've lost a couple hundred points in one go, maybe over the course of two or three days. Now in the other hand, when I'm in the zone, I've gained 150 points in one day. Most recently, I went from 2450 (bullet) to 2600 in two playing sessions of half an hour each.

Change your rating range to only play higher rated players, problem solved

Change your rating range to only play higher rated players, problem solved

I already have that, but since im 2270 i can play anybody from 2245 to infinity

I have two massive tilts, the first one 753 to 532 which is 222 elo drop but the second time 1084 to 801 which is 283 i was both times demanding myself to not reach 400 and 700 respectively
