What's worse? Abort or Resign?

Abort the or resign the game?

Resign = Maturity.

Abort = Immaturity.

If you're playing over the board and getting absolutely destroyed, would you rather:

A) Admit defeat and tell your opponent they did a great job,

or

B) Get up from your chair and leave the room without saying a word or even offering a handshake?

Seems pretty clear to me.

I think it's abandon or resign

Abandoning means your scared to admit you lost, Just resign and give a handshake, Good sportsmanship is an essential requirement for a good chess player.

abort is usually worse

abort = busy , resign = okay , abandonment = yey, now my collection of many-ways-to-win-a-chess-game -in-chess.com is now complete
