I go for either the Nimzo Indian of the Queen's Indian, depending on which knight is played.
I play d5
either c5 or e5 would be a gambit so I just build of d5
Is horsieh3 a good reply?

Actually, if c5, white's best move is d5. Dxc5 and White can't hold on to the pawns, while Black has a preponderance of pawns in the center. So, as a 1. d4 c5 player, I actually enjoy it when my opponents take on c5- I get a very nice set-up, and sometimes win material.

I play the KID, I believe I mentioned it earlier (among other openings that I play as well).
I like playing against e4 more than d4
