mine:
<300 beginner
300-600 knows how to play but aint no pro
600-1000 Tournament worthy
1000-2000 chess is your life and I respect that
2000-3000 at this point you're getting paid to play this game
3000-4000 good luck finding someone this good who wastes their time socializing on this site

There's no definitive answer to your question, and interestingly enough, your question is actually a paradox, a logical fallacy if you will! Asking "how good does my rating need to be for me to be considered intermediate?" is the logical equivalent of asking "how many grains of sand can I take out of a heap until it no longer identifies as a heap?" - Sorites Paradox.
I appreciate the question though. I love paradoxes, and can quite frankly talk about them all day. It's super intersting that your very question just so happens to be one.
For my genuine advice, I wouldn't even worry about whether or not you're a beginner, intermediate, or advanced. The fastest way to progress is whichever way you're having fun, and I know that for me, I have the most fun when I genuinely couldn't care less about the level of experience that society deems me as. Just have fun!
