Hmm. I use a Web Browser on my phone to pull up the chess.com website.
It runs well.

Mu guess is it unlikely to happen. Most variants won't work well on smaller screens, and the whole. variants server code is different than the rest of the site, which will likely take a lot of work to make it work on the apps.

Idk but if you want variants lichess has Atomic, anti chess, chess960, King of the Hill, Racing Kings and horde
