Related….I cannot remember ever getting an under-promotion, but awhile back I had 2 pawns where it would have made some sense to consequently promote both to knights.
I didn’t do it, and regret it. Even though I won the game, I really wish I had tried the knight promotion path instead. It was just a little unclear, the queen promotion was more direct.

I realize my post makes no sense without seeing the game…. it was a very chaotic position. I was down in material, both promotions could be captured by the opponent, the knight involved a check…it was pretty insane.
WHY!!!! just Kg8 man... anyway i know i should have had the chance of Smothered long before now but it has never come up.
