Where does people play chess in your country !?

Except tournament halls etc...

Do people play in Macdonalds? Starbucks? Burger King? Somewhere else where do you see people with a chess board in your country?

Most chess is played online I would think.

i never saw anyone playing chess in public or classes or college or anywhere and Hustlers don't exist in india... I've never met anyone who knows what castling is... Only rich join chess classes and clubs (that too bcz parents force them to do so)... India is worst country for a chess inthusiast...

We were playing in classrooms instead of listening lecture. And now we play in a cafe.

 ya chess is prevalent in India but not in my state(Jammu and Kasmir).

There is only 1 working chess academy/club in the 5th largest state of India(J&k)

Here in Indonesia, chess is played in street coffee shops and a few cafes. i've only seen chess played in Mcdonalds once, by a couple of college kids.
