I've tried to use this site's search box in the top right before and I never seem to find what I want.  But when I use google it's usually found right away.

Even if I'm searching for a member.  I go to google and type "chess.com member turbofish" for example (you're the top link ;)

Google is amazingly fast at finding new pages.  I'm not sure how it's possible to be so fast.  Test it out... google search:

"chess.com embarrassment hurts profitability"

and top link is this topic!  (Maybe it looks in my history folder?)

Yeah, chess.com's search function is useless for some reason. Google is awesome. Oh well.

I think almost all regular posters in the forums are members there.
