Lichess is better for unrated games. Chess.com is better for communication and rated gameplay.

Chess.com. I like design here. But “Studio” concept is good and chess.com should do something similar.

Lichess is good but the UI/design makes me use chess.com. Chess.com is so much better designed so lichess is only good for puzzles in my opinion.
There is almost zero anti cheating control on li chess. I`ll go with chess.com for me this is the better site - 273 cheaters caught on my account since July 2023 on chess.com and only 6 on lichess. That says it all. If you are chasing a rating target and happens to be in the 2200+ stay away from lichess
They're both equal tbh, lichess is good for beginner practice and newbies like me, while I feel like chess.com is for the Magnus Gotham Hikaru Grandmaster mate in -1 sweats who actually spend copious amounts of time playing chess and know the game

I like chess.com better for a lot of things, like communicating with other people, but lichess is better at one thing, their arenas. I love the beserk concept and chess.com should do similar.
I'm going to let everyone debate, so i will just say that chess.com is better. I know lichess is free but are they better because there free? No.
