No one said it has to be Devil's Food Cake!

That looks like what a doggy might leave behind (from behind).
I always thought it looked more like an ice cream cone:

Wow! You could be right, my family does have the strawberry gene.
We are growing strawberries this year. I think I have about 30 plants now. Took me awhile to figure out that slugs and not squirrels were nibbling them, and then I resolved it with 'sluggo'. But not before I built chicken wire cages around the raised beds to keep out non-existent threats. Fortunately I made them aesthetically appealing so, unless the deer go on a rampage and justify the extra work, they at least make it look like the garden has its act together :-). It also made it convenient to cover one in plastic to keep the pepper plants and a couple of tomato plants warm. But I digress. Mmmmm... strawberries!

I did catch a squirrel gracefully nibble a strawberry the other day, so yep it happens, I find it great fun to scare the little dudes!
Someday they might turn the table and nibble me, heehee.

Greenwich Park (where they held the Equestrian events in the 2012 London Olympics) has absolutely loads of squirrels. They run up your legs and take nuts out of your hands. ;)

I ate strawberries today also, you could be my long lost sister!
Or maybe you're related to the squirrels?

strawberries are nothing to chocolate
I'll take that as a compliment.
(e.g. strawberries are often a compliment to chocolate)

Oh please, my friend from over-the-pond, you cannot expect to say something like that and not have me interpret it as a double entendre. To slightly misquote the late Charston Heston, American actor, that squirrel will have to pry my nuts from my cold dead hands.
Can we have a set with chocolate cake pieces? Ok. So White gets White Choclate cake and Black gets...you know...Dark Chocolate cake. Ok folks. I challenge any opponent to the Duncan Hines Gambit. 1. a4 d5 2.Choclate Cake to...um...don't know how Chocolate cake moves...so I'll just put him on...the e4 square so Black's Queen Pawn can capture it. Then on Move 3 Black will put his cake on the...how about...the e6 square so it can guard the f7 square? Keep that Bishop off that diagonal for sure!!!
