The better piece is bishop. SOMEONE:but knight moves with L shape?! Simply think the bishop is better because it can move as far as he wants diagonally ♟️♟️♟️♟️

It depends on the position, but bishop has been proven to be generally better. It is also traditionally given points instead of 3.

"It depends."

Two bishops, working together, can be stronger than two knights.

But for a beginner player, it's easier to just say, "a bishop is equal to a knight".

depends on position but in most positions bishops are slightly better than knights.

Their values change depending on the position.

For example: a bishop can be quite strong on an open, uncontested diagonal.

But if your opponent has a knight clamped on an outpost deep in your position, you'd be wise to trade one of your bishops to kill the knight, before that horse ruins you.

it is only an argument for beginner players, if you ask any grandmaster, they would say bishop
