Personally I think Knight because it jumps over pieces which that gives an Advantage

Personally I prefer the knight, but I think it rlly just depends on the game you’re playing.

Oh so you think that way
Well I love bishops in the mall(open position) and knights in the borderline(closed position)

#28 Bishop can also be used for pinning pieces.

In general, I favour the Bishop slightly if only because the Bishop controls more squares, The "bad" Bishop, called that because it is hampered by its own pawns, though is not as good as the Knight i n general, The Knight fades in importance generally as the Board clears, so it is most effective early in the game. But a secure Knight on the sixth rank is very powerful, (secured by a stable pawn) at most stages of the game, The BIshop is very good to have in the endgame.

As has been stated the Bishop pair confers an large advatange in many cases,

Technically the knight has higher "peak power" - ie, closed position in a central outpost, it's worth a rook. There was a study of "average value per square" (regardless of closed or open), and on the central 4 squares, both bishop and knights were strongest, with knight slightly stronger, bishop being stronger on every other square. On average, bishops will be stronger, especially in open positions, and with the bishop pair. Oftentimes the difference is small enough that it's not worth making the trade yourself, because it gives up tempo, and running away from the trade if you're the bishop loses tempo, and giving it up for the knight is better. You take the tempo loss if the position after the exchange looks favorable enough (ie open vs closed), and not just slightly favorable on paper, because if you're technically "favored", but are down on tempo and the opponent has the initiative, their position will be easier to play than yours. Good rule of thumb is: bishop pair = 0,5 pawn and 1 tempo = 0,33 pawn. Endgame pawns on 1 side - knight, on both sides - bishop

I believe it depends on the position. If you have a closed position, it would be more useful to use the knight. If it were open, then bishops would be more ideal, even though lots of titled players say that after analysing more than a million games, the bishop is worth points more than the knight, but in general, it depends.

Zero point fifteen points more than knight i meant. It doesnt let me put numbers for some reason.
