Yes, that's probably why they do it.

It would be fun to pull up chess master and enter all the moves, and just play what chess master would play, so you win 100% of the time. Just to see how high you could get your rating. You would be the #1 rated player on this website because NOONE can beat chess master.

They cheat because they can't really play worth a damn.

Also, these threads get closed down and the discussion directed to the Cheating Forum.

Unless you run into a guy who's using Houdini.

      These certain  people who use devices dishonestly eventually believe that they are good players. They lie  to others as well as themselves and gradually  believe their lies as truth. In short  they are only  deluding  themselves.
