Either they lose connection (but after one minute you win) or they are unfair.
who are worse cheaters or people who let the clock run down when they've lost?

Either they lose connection (but after one minute you win) or they are unfair.
some dis-connectors are fine, for example some countries may have horrible internet and thy just can't play. however some people just do that to annoy people. the worse ones are the people who'll sit there for 25 minutes just to be a sore loser.

Cheaters are worse, and I wouldn't call cheating rare on here. Once you start facing 1600+ rated opponents, cheating is very common here.

I used to play on a site where you could place a request to your opponent to add 3, 5, 10, or 20 min more to the clock. There was no auto resign. Those time ticker types would request more time when losing and then let the time run so you'd have to wait even longer. I've been pretty upset after a loss before. Usually the losses when I was up in material and then blundered. I was always mad at myself and never held it against my opponent for trying his or her best to win. That's what we're supposed to do. Name of the game

In daily chess I will use 90 days of vacation time right before I lose. 3 months later I make my next move and they will probably not be playing anymore, so I'll win by time
so your infuriating people just to make a number go higher, that's pretty sad. and is probably against the fair play policy.
although both of these type of people are rare, when they do crop up, they're annoying but who are worse. cheaters do make you lose rating and have you angry afterwards but then you just play another game and get on. 'losing clock runners' on other hand make you lose nothing apart from your time but if your playing a 30 min rapid game and you've clearly won but they have 25 min on the clock left it can be very frustrating and angers everyone.
so what do you think?
