Who is the Best Chess Player Ever??

My favorites are Mikhail Tal and Jose Raul Capablanca.

Tal had a sacrificial gameplay and mastered middlegames. Capablanca, on the other hand, was a master of endgames. If somebody asks me who played the best endgames in chess, I would say Capablanca without thinking twice.

Peak Ding, Carlsen, Kasparov, Tal, Capablanca polgar and Dubov are my favourites. Fischer, Prag and Hikaru are also close tbf.

Mikhail Tal and Capablanca are my favorites. Gukesh, Magnus, and Prag are also nice..

Carlsen is the GOAT. He is a great player too but I personally think Gukesh is better.

If you consider result in match vs world second best player contemporary, Paul Morphy is best by FAR. (Morphy 8:3 Anderssen vs Carlsen 6:6 Caruana)

Carlsen was WC 2013-2023 so your “near future “ should last at least 10 next years (and I am hater of Carlsen)
