Magnus is the best at classical chess

Hikaru is the best at blitz

so is currently the best rapid player?

I guess you didn't see the Blitz Battle between Magnus and Hikaru.

Or the Rapids playoff between Magnus and Sergey.

Yes. And based on recent results, of the 3 he seems to be the most dominant in rapid.
