Many nice people who are willing to explain, even if they are rated 1000 points higher. Big up for them!
Who is the greatest help on chess.com

It would depend much on what sort of "help" you have in mind. Pfren's insights are of steady quality and frequency.

I believe in me...
On the serious side, Estragon is not the monster that sees all, but he is extremely friendly & helpful, and a very nice chap overall. Hats off.

Agree with those already mentioned. Would like to add paulgottlieb. There are others whose comments I look out for too, but these guys are frequent contributors.

pfren --he knows the openings very well and he has a ton of general chess knowledge and often is able to communicate well.
There are others of course and they have been mentioned but phren seems to be around all or much of the time!

ilikeflags. He told me I was too dumb for chess so don't waste your time.
This saved me much misdirected effort and disappointment.

I noticed that pfren is the most mentioned name until now...
And the most wrongly spelled!
C'mon guys, it's only 5 letters, and he's so helpful, as you say
ROFL :D
Kohai gets my vote. She is on our side and always saying that things can be done - unusual in my experience of forum moderators.
Thanks.

My observations are:-
1. Although Kohai is staff, she seems to go way beyond the call of duty; chess.com would be much less without her.
2. So far on this Thread we have "IM Prfen ", "phren", and "pfren" ... is it the same person ?
3.I agree with paulgottlieb being nominated, and similarly, Scottrf deserves a mention; always seems to be helpful, to weaker players too, unlike some others who assume everyone is a titled player.
Finally, why has nobody nominated transpo?

Oh, yes, knew I'd forget someone, not because he's minor, but thanks to his contributions too, PaulGottlieb.

Either kenpoo or yereslov. Both have basically told me I know nothing, so, I've got that going for me.

@Flags brings out the best in people. Even when they don't want it to come out.
Al, if you were Greek I'd have to suspect you of being Socrates.
Guess that makes kenpo and yereslav twin oracles.

Is he the one that always writes gigundo posts? I get him confused with Elubas. Both of whom are pretty good but Chrisse one of them is long-winded.
I believe either Kohai, IM Pfren , Andyclifton and then RIP snakesbelly
