Magnus Carlsen is the best of all time...just because he has greater tech than all of these other people doesn't change anything...

True...but This is my opinion...not fact...there is really no 100% ligidemint answer to the question...I just think Magnus is better than Kasparov

Anatoly Karpov still has, if I'm correct, the highest number of 1st places in rated classical tournaments. (and has been World Champion 10 years long).
