whos the greatest chesswriter of alltime??!!

I'd never heard of him but apparently his Endgame Tactics written with humor won the Book of the Year award.
Must be really good.

I thnk modern authors who won "Chess Book of the Year" awards are to be seeded automaticly. Among old books, Aron Nimzovich is contender for best chess writer.

Silman, Seirawan, Soltis, Fine, Reinfeld, Keres, Nimzowitsch, Pachman, Nunn, Watson, Dvoretsky, Alburt, Aagaard are among the contenders.
The two books that helped me most were Nimzo's My System and Silman's How to Reassess Your Chess.

Guys I have started a club: https://www.chess.com/club/intellectual-chessists-society
Please join. Chess.com has become somewhat of a trolling site, I've created this club in order to destroy the troll beast.
