I agree that pfren is a little too... pfren but he can and does give decent advice. Gms even disagree on the perfect system in teaching begginers. This does not mean one is the be all end all. They are all good advice.
I'm just an amature chess player. I don't have enough time for playing classical chess games. So, I play online standard rating chess games ( mainly 15|10, 5|5 and 10 minutes formats). I am quite good at openings and positional stretagies but what I lack most is tactics. So I keep losing games in which at some point I had very possible wining chances. I practise tactics every day for 15-20 minutes. Still I keep losing games which I should have won. So I become frustrated and keep losing and losing. Any suggestions please?

tactical Puzzles is just one way of practicing tactics...
the bigger deal is to See When there are tactics, and if you think about it, tactical puzzles don't help with this At all.
Instead, my big advice is to honestly go through your game and look for tactics you missed. When you have looked (and only afterwards) look the game over with a strong chess engine and see what you missed, again.
why did you miss the tactic not just once, but twice? the more honestly and comprehensibly you can answer this- the more you are working on "knowing your tactics"

I have the same question. Players at my actual elo are far more better than me. I have lost 200 points. I cannot even win an easy endgame to save my life.
