Why am I suddenly losing at chess loads

I was on a 8 win streak last night & now I’m on a 6 loss streak?

why?

Because chess has a habit of kicking you in the nuts just when you think you're making progress

If you were to flip a coin a lot, sometimes you would get heads 8 times in a row an sometimes tails 6 times in a row.

If you are playing chess against an opponent of similar strength compared to your own strength, the chances are you are going to win about 50% and lose about 50% (draws excluded), so it makes perfect sense that sometimes you get win streaks and sometimes losing streaks. Just like you would get heads or tails streaks flipping a coin.

Play no more than 2 or 3 games a Day to beat the system. If you play to many games pr Day you will plummit in rating. I go from 1450 to 1200 when grinding for legends league and thats all because of to many games...

UPDATE: made a new acc so I could quickly get to my actual new rating (since I learnt loads) and now I’m rated 930 rapid

Success can sometimes lead to overconfidence, causing you to take unnecessary risks or overlook threats.

You may have faced opponents with varying skill levels. Sometimes, you'll face tougher opponents, and other times, you'll face players who are not as strong.

It really comes down to luck. Sometimes you meet weaker opponents and sometimes you meet stronger opponents. Stronger not in terms of elo, but in terms of gameplay.

It's normal. Take a break and rest your brain. I found it devastating when I was a beginner too because I had no idea it wasn't normal and had nothing to compare it to.

You are losing at chess loads because the algorithm that generates opponents on this site needs to seriously be tuned.

Throwing someone at you, over and over, who is 100 to 200 points above your rating, is not your fault, it is the programming geniuses at chess.com and their failure.

That....and bots or second hand help does not help your chances at all.

Until they fix it, it will continue to suck .

it really has come really ridiculous in a couple of last months, pretty much these day in order to win at say 1000 level you have to play 80+ accuracuy, which is a bit ridiculous to be honest, this wasnt like it this a few months back, no every time I lose opponent is playing 80-85+ accuracu and I havent won anything playinb less than 80, this shouldnt be the case at 1000 level, these 900-1000 level players have become ridiculously accurate making no blunders and making 1-2 mistakes a game also they've become extremyl fast at 10 min time control

Yes cheating is so out of control even the big guns of the game are crying about it finally opening their mouths

Variance is a very real thing. Sometimes you'll have winning streaks and sometimes you'll have losing streaks. If you want to minimize your losses, then perhaps learn about the Stop-Loss System and try to implement this into your game:

same is happening to me i was dropped to 300 at that time i left after 6 months i came bacck and take iit to 580 i almost never losses but now i have like 13 loose strikes
