Yes, but not for a long time. I had no idea what it was about when I finally saw it either, and when Tim Curry did that first number dancing around I nearly fell out of my chair laughing. Very much unexpected.
In fact watching that 17 sec clip again, I can't help but laugh... that sax + Curry's bravado is just too funny.
Not sure I'd watch the movie again... lol. But it was fine the first time.

But women, it seems, underestimate their own candlepower (and that of women in general), while men overestimate theirs. Adrian Furnham: Universally, men tend to score higher on certain specialized skills, such as spatial awareness. In the real world, that means they might be better at reading maps or navigating.
