Maybe aliens play chess like in star trek, who cares who is better.
Why are men better than women?

Another bridge destroyed by the mothman.

To even bring up the subject, shows certain insecurities in your manhood. Theirs not one player, including masters on this site who could beat Judith Polgar in a match. And who was that women in the recent U S A Championships who more then held her own against the men.
Well no but then you can question whether there are any grand masters at all that could beat Judith Polgar I can think of a few but point being?

I agree with themothman stop whining and just play.
I'm not whining by any means. I'm never going to be brilliant at chess but I don't think that it is gender related. I play for fun. I was just wondering what other people thought

I apologise to all the men on this site, for even daring to think that your not perfect in every way

You see, this is all we ask for.

Doesn't calling someone's manhood into question, or at least their securities about it, inherently involve a value judgement about "manhood"? Isn't that exactly the type of perspective you're trying to tear down?
As much as this topic has been done to death, the OP was questioning what is a clearly established discrepancy between the sexes in the participation levels and the representation at the top level of the game. Is this discussion really off limits for men lest we have our respective "manhoods" called into question?
