Why are puzzles “ rated “ so mean ! 😲

If you get one wrong, you can lose up to eleven points ! 😤…..if you get one correct, you’re lucky if you get five points ! 🤨…..why can’t it be the same, win or lose ! 🤷♂️…..and why does it have to be a time race !

The points you get for getting it right depend on how fast you go. If you take longer than expected, you won't get a lot of points.
Similarly, the point drop for getting it wrong will decrease if it's a multi-move puzzle and you get at least the first move(s) right. I've actually gotten +5 after failing a puzzle a few times because of this.
