Why are some of the Indian players so disrespectful when they win?

Hey everyone,

I’ve played a lot of games on here and most of the time it’s all good win or lose. But I’ve noticed that almost every time I play against someone from India and lose or fall for a trap they get really disrespectful. They start trash talking or acting cocky in chat and it just kills the vibe.

I want to be clear, I’ve never experienced this kind of behavior from players of any other country. It’s only ever happened with Indian players, and at this point it’s hard to ignore.

I know not every Indian player is like this and I’m not trying to make assumptions about everyone but this has happened so many times now that I feel like I have to say something. Has anyone else experienced this.

If there’s no way to avoid this kind of unsportsmanlike behavior then I might start aborting games when I’m matched with Indian players. It’s genuinely ruining the fun for me.

Would like to hear what others think.

Thank you for responding. I’m glad to hear you’ve had positive experiences.

I too have some Indian friends and I’m sure not every Indian player is like that. But I’ve had several experiences now where it feels like the behavior is pretty consistent when playing against players from India. It’s not just one or two bad games, and it’s really started to make me question if it’s something about the community or just bad luck on my end.

I’m not saying all Indian players are like this, but it’s been frustrating enough that I wanted to see if anyone else has noticed it too.

Let's be honest: whatever your experience with Indian players is, you have to say that they are kind, respectful etc. otherwise you can be banned for "ra*ism".

Idiocy.

Yeah you are right. That's why I said "I know not every Indian player is like this and I’m not trying to make assumptions about everyone but this has happened so many times now that I feel like I have to say something."

Violates community standards, e.g., bigotry and racism are not allowed.

Thanks
