Why did I rapidly fail on chess?

Do you feel upset and frustrated when you are playing since you lost so many points? If so, wait for maybe a week and then play again, excited to win, and you will get back to 1800. This is what i did when i was 1850 in bullet and dropped to 1675
I was at 1800 then suddenly to around 1600. I lost hope in this game. I feel depressed because I thought I already had a new skill but now, I could hardly defeat 1600 level. I don't know the reason. It just frustrates me so much.
