Why Do People Block You After Losing a Game?

You know thats not about religion right? These chain messages are just spams meant to annoy people. That's not really proving your faith lol.

I either block someone who I’m pretty sure was cheating, or I just didn’t enjoy the game and would rather not ever play them again. Maybe they wasted my time trying to get a stalemate. Block. Whatever. I don’t know them and don’t care about hurting their feelings. Even if I win, I might block you. Maybe it was your username or avatar. When I report someone for cheating the block button is another click, so sometimes I don’t bother. They should really have a report and block button baked into one if you want to report for cheating, but a separate block button too just because you didn’t like playing someone.

People accuse me of cheating all the time, losing at chess is difficult especially if you work really hard on a game.

I usually block certain countries before the game starts and have found that any cheating/sandbagging/stalling issues have gone way down for me.

Once my opponent and I played a really bad game, and I somehow won, then he accused me of cheating, I asked him to hit game review T-T

I don't blame people for blocking others when they lose, they might just be having a bad day, unless it's for some really dumb reason.

If you offer a rematch, I will refuse. If you offer it a second time, I block you.

If I think you cheated, I may block you.

If you play junk instead of chess, I may block you.

If you chat in a manner that I find inappropriate, such as asking me to resign, I will block you.

I almost never block but I report almost everyone for cheating when I think there must have been some form of cheating involved. I think I never have been automatically paired to play against a person twice anyway since I joined. So blocking makes no difference

i blocked ppl yet. the reason was they was in a position which was impossible to recover from and than they waited the whole time for loosing your posture and resign. but i waited and than, after victory i blocked and reported them.
