He was playing with the captured pieces as if they were action figures.

I had some unkind things to say to you but chess.com's auto bot flagged it...

No offense, I just know sometimes anger and annoyance can get the better of people, me especially and it tend to cloud rational thinking. It does sound to me like he was being dumb though if he was playing with the pieces.

Far enough where you can't hear or see them?

Corporal, I don't mind just accusations, and by just I mean right opinions. However, you are making a part to whole fallacy. if you don't know what it is, look it up. it seems to me that you are making the right accusation but also are extremely bias against kids which is clouding your judgement.

The worst thing about kids is that some of them become bitter old men.

I don't even remember the last time I offered a draw. Most my draws are repetition, I think the only couple times I've offered it is in like a KRKR endgame where there's almost no chance of blundering anything. I usually resign when I am dead lost but if he has a forced mate I let them play it because why not?

I am not bias against kids, you clearly don't understand humour, if you don't know what that is, look it up.

What is rude is when an adult calls another adults opinion nonsense.

But if I am only 8 years old, according to you it's not rude, because I am too young to be rude. No doubt kids who murder other kids are too young to murder other kids in your world view..

WHOA CORPORAL_JONES! WHOA! That escalated quickly! How'd we go from kids being rude to this? Keep it civil, sir!

People who offer draws instead of resigning care about their rating points. They are short sighted individuals who believe that their rating somehow reflects on them as a person.

When in fact the offering of a draw instead of resigning is the reflection on them as a person.
