Saying her voice annoys him is neither a bigoted nor a sexist comment. You need to take off your white knight armor, my dude. It must be weighing you down and getting you into a lot of unnecessary fights.

Honestly the way i know not to take people seriously is when they use the word bigot. Just ignore him and go on with your day.

but she has that really annoying high school vibe and say Oh My God every 2minutes at a play. She is the only one that does that too and has no real respect for people who actually believe in god I know that might something so weird to say in todays world but yet all other commentators say oh my gosh or something in that vicinity.

But it's the little things that kinda shows off her god complex

I'm sorry to disagree but saying, "oh my god" has nothing to do with whether you respect people who believe in god or not. As you well know, it is a ubiquitous phrase in today's world, and to invest more meaning in it than that is futile.

And while we are on the subject, why is it important or necessary to respect people who believe in God? Everyone is entitled to their beliefs but those beliefs shouldn't deserve any particular respect, should they? I don't get it.

sorry to burst your bubble, but saying oh my G*d

is literally blasphemy and is highly inappropriate hence why religious people replace it with goodness or gosh

Toldsted

She is great. One of the best commentators. I personally love her voice and accent. And she is very easy to understand for a non native English speaker.

Mauvile

Well tbh, she's great as a commentator, her energy and enthusiasm...not to mention her analysis is also good

Religious people can do whatever they like - and good luck to them. The rest of us can also do what we like, including saying, "Oh My God" or absolutely anything else that we feel like saying. That's called freedom of speech. Would you have our society run any other way?

I never claimed what people can and can't do I was arguing that the saying is blasphemous or not has nothing to do with what you can and can't say

It's blasphemous only if you believe what YOU believe. As it turns out, not everyone believes in God. I would urge a little more compassion and understanding on your part.

These commentators should all be super GMs.
Leko and [Anand or Kramnik] should cover the upcoming Candidates tourney.

Or maybe Carlsen (seeing as he is out of the cycle).

Totally agree. Leko is by far the best commentator in my opinion. His analysis is almost always right on point, he sees stuff immediately - and he's incredibly good at explaining the ideas, providing history and context.

As for Carlsen joining in the commentary, I would pay money to have that happen. Carlsen is extraordinarily good at providing insight and explaining ideas.

LiangXingHao

Haha. The white man is doomed.

I am honest. I prefer Indian woman to Jew man.

WhereKnightsJump

She is ugly, and she shouldn't do any more commentary on this planet. I also hate her annoying voice.

WhereKnightsJump

Please give us Sagar and Amruta. I will listen and watch them.

Oh, so it's about majorities, is it? Hitler was a popular leader among Germans at the time. Does that mean that he was ok? Grow up.

You can believe whatever you want but don't expect or demand that people respect your beliefs. Personally, people's religious beliefs are not a reason for respect - in fact, quite the opposite. Among advanced societies, religiosity is falling. There is a reason for that: education. If you prefer to put faith before facts and knowledge, that's fine with me. Just don't make anyone else sing your song. If people want to use the word "god" or "Jesus" in a way that you don't like, that's just tough luck for you.

I was hyped for Tata Steel, but I stopped watching altogether after you guessed it. Kudos to chesscom for knowing their audience I suppose.

Another typical pseudo-genius lecturing. Hitler brute forced his way into power, despite popular belief of being voted into power. Of course this clown is a typical edgy anti-religion too. Shows how chess players really aren't that smart after all.
