Why does C*****4's Candidates' R1 coverage video have so many dislikes?

It certainly isn't the proportion of dislikes that I'm used to seeing on a chess video:

So why the negative response? Is it because Giri's wife is commentating, which makes some of the Carlsen fans mad? Because that's the only semi-plausible reason I can think of (maybe I'm not very imaginative). Or is there something else, perhaps less petty (or more - it's possible), that I'm missing?

While we're on the subject... is it just me, or does Carlsen seem to constantly get mad about things that I wouldn't even think to be annoyed by? Just putting it out there.

Hmm, no idea.

Are they competing with FIDE's coverage? It is another one of those "we have the exclusive rights, you can't broadcast it" vs "f*** you, we're broadcasting it anyway" things?

If so, maybe FIDE loyalists downvote it.

Yeah Carlsen acts like a child sometimes, but I don't care. When you're the best in the world what would normally be an ego is actually just an accurate self assessment (i.e. "I'm the best in the world")

So when someone tweets that Kramnik knows more about chess than anyone, sure, as the best player in the world I'm probably going to tweet something like "if he's so good why was he WC only 1 year, why am I rated higher, and why do I have a plus score against him?"

By the way, some people were tweeting "imagine if twitter existed while Fischer was playing"

I bet he'd have some epic trash talk.

I assume that it has as many dislikes as it does because, at one point, you could only watch part of the coverage. You can see this by reading the comments on the video. Apparently there was some issue uploading the entirety of the footage, or something of the sort.

Ah, that makes sense. When I created this thread the stream was still ongoing, and live chat was blocked, so there were no comments to refer to. The comentators also spent quite a bit of time talking about events related to the twitter spat, so I figured it had something to do with the dislikes.
