Chess.com has a more competitive pool
Why does everyone think chess.com has strong pool?
When I play intermediate it's 50/50 win loss, and when I play advanced it is still 50/50, the only difference is that the games are more interesting in advanced, how does this make sense?
It is a sign that the ratings are much more inflated at Lichess. It is much more easier to get a higher rating at lichess than at chess.com. Therefore chess.com is more competitive. For example: I have 1950+ blitz at lichess and I am struggling hard to get 1700+ at chess.com (at blitz). In Rapid I have received a rating of 2100+ at Lichess.
Edwin, when I play as a guest my rating is at least twice what it is when I use my regular account, how does this work?

I don't mean concrete rating. It is much harder on lichess to achieve high percentile which indicates how good you are comparing to others.

Because the "guest" rating at lichess is about 1500 afaik.
Apparently I am not included in "everybody". I have never thought what any of these "why does everyone think..." threads.
Have you ever wondered how every time you want to play there is an oppenent with a similar rating ready to go? It seems like we would have to wait at least a few seconds, are some of the profiles really modified bots?

Winning, losing, and drawing indicates how good you are compared to others.
% stuff is a marketing gimmick and doesn't even make sense half the time (like a terrible game will be given 90%).
I think it is the opposite.
On chess.com i have 1700 blitz rating and 96.5%.
On lichess.org i have 1900 blitz rating and only 82%.
