Why does everyone try to checkmate the Pirc Defense? Lol

Intended to play Ba6 before b4 but just completely forgot about it lol. That was the only time he had any real advantage.

The Pirc is such a beautiful opening. They try to checkmate me and but they don't even see the counter-attack coming lol 

 

 

Thoughts?

You blundered two pawns and gave white a huge attack.

White played incredibly poorly to manage to lose that... I didn't see a counter attack or anything good about the pirc in this game...

I feel that fianchettos against e4 are lame, so I try to completely destroy my opponent if they dare. That is my opinion, I did not state that they are objectively bad.
