In a lot of my games, the computer analysis provided here tells me I'm making mistakes because I've avoided situations that would end up in queen trades. It's especially fond of telling me this in the opening, before any position is seeming to me to be even remotely established. Almost every game I play, it always seems to suggest opening in a way that removes the queens from the board before either has even moved. Like it just doesn't want to think about them or something?
I'm not averse to playing without my queen, but just throwing them away for the sake of throwing them away (especially as an early game objective) seems really wasteful to me. Though I admit I am very poor at analyzing these things.
Does anyone have any insight about why it's pushing so hard to do this? Or why it might actually be a good idea?
