Why Don't Mods Ban ALL Petitions?

This isn't really an accusation. But people are making fools of themselves by doing this, it would be nice for these to lock. In fact, there's a rage bait forum that got 1300 posts!! That's insane, and this has to stop.

why do you always say this in only my forums omg it makes you a hypocrite and a broken record to say the same thing, when you could be telling others, OR EVEN BETTER, DON'T SAY ANYTHING AT ALL.

Okay, let me share my opinion:

Not all petitions should be banned, only complete stupidity and ragebait attempt ones. But if he's uneducated about it, there's not many reasons to lock that thread. Only if it's on purpose, and maybe sometimes if it is really something bad. But they'll do more, knowing they get the attention they want. There's not really a solution in my opinion. And there's some parts I agree and disagree in this thread. That's all.
