Why I feel sleepy while playing Tournament Chess?

Hey guys,I often feel sleepy after thinking for a long time in OTB tournaments.I usually stroll, drink tea/coffee but sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't.I try to sleep for long hours so as to not to feel sleepy but I do.What should I do?
concentrating is the most strenuous brain activity. blood, oxygen and glucose is pumped up and used each time you're firing neurons...and with neurons, you have to constantly fire them up to stay focussed...
if your body's glucose is short or depletes itself too rapidly (check for onset of diabetes/thyroid issues), and/or you don't breath very efficiently - you may be experiencing sleepiness due to intermittent hypoxia.
So what should I do to avoid it?

Stop going to OTB tournaments. It's a boring game, of course it makes you feel sleepy.
Its not the case that I feel sleepy everytime I play.I feel sleepy sometimes.I am trying hard to stop this feelin' but I know that I am on the wrong path.I like playing chess and that's why I am here. You are not supposed to fool around so PLEASE..............

3. Stay awake for days
4. get punched unconscious
5. play chess

Don't do too many things before playing chess and get tired off.
Relax and know that you're playing chess which needs a lot of concentration.
