I belive chess is so popular is because of all the skill and challenges.Chess has been around since the early 16th century.And possibly why it is famous is because things like competitions and all the apps like this one. Tell me what you think 🤔?

Chess isn't popular. Go outside and ask random strangers if they play. Odds are it won't be too many that say yes.

Chess is cool. Makes you think. Makes you want to get better. It's not a question of boosting the ego, because even if you lose, if you fought hard but your opponent was just better, it gives you satisfaction, anyway.
