probably because of both. I mean the most ppl on chess.com are American so it also matter. But probably most because of lack of 2500 playing. Because not a lot of 2500 bullet is playing a lot of bullet games everyday
why is the bullet pool near my rating range dead?

that's basically the worst time for most people outside the us
i was playing at that range, well actually it was from 8-10 and then when i got home i played a little till 2am but even now the pool is dead which really sucks, its like bullet died or something

there' not that many 2500s out there too
i mean but surely theres gotta be many users out there, it just cant be a entire pool dying where i have to wait many minutes for a single game then seek again. i even have had to seek other bullet challenges cause i got tired of waiting, its just 1 game then waiting all over again

there are more indians and chinese people on the site iirc

I reckon what they do 2500 plus is just friend everyone in your rating range and you'll have a list of peeps your strength who are online and available to challenge.

I believe it's both your rating, and the time you're playing.
I find that at the 2500+ (blitz) level, and certain hours of the night (Eastern US / Canada), my seeks sometimes just stay open for several minutes at a time, with no responses. I often get bored and simply log off.
But if I log in to play in the middle of the day, there are usually multitudes of opponents in my range to play.
All depends on when you're logging in.

Cuz everyone's scared of losing to you
Even Bill is scared to lose to the almighty Kowarenai
the pool is taking many minutes like even 10 just for a game near my range, is this cause of timezones or just lack of 2500's when seeking, its only one game then a long wait again
