hey KornKid- sorry about that '05 Cup! I was at game 7. Too bad it's been all down hill for the Hurricanes since then.

Mersaphe- are you really only 16? you sound more, experienced, than that.

dude, does she want to? Mersaphe is right. My woman likes me to take charge, even when I don't want to. Sometimes I'd like her to take the reins just for a while though.

Mersaphe

but he has known his right hand for a lot longer therefore it's his more loyal friend :0

Omg

Pulpofeira

Mersaphe, have you definitely lost all contact with sanity?!

It's really quite simple. You can start a game with 2 kings and no queen, and I am quite sure you lose quickly

That is an interesting proposal.

I believe the rule 'both kings must be in mate to win' would offer quite a challenge.

margosmiles

In speed chess you are free to take the king(s)

...nice theme and salient comments...

Dogs left alone. :(

No woman loves me like my dog :/

But women have some qualities that dogs lack :D ;)

lock your woman and your dog in the trunk of a car. Come back in an hour and guess which one will be happy to see you.

margosmiles

Perhaps your wife was not happy to see you before you trunked her

Ellie47

If you locked me in the trunk I would assume you were drunk again and make allowances, my dog would be delighted to see you as she sees no imperfections in you ever :)  As long as I was comfortable in the trunk I would make myself cosy and see it as time out from everything, most needed by a women, as she does all the work around the place anyway!

....and it's usually the only piece on the board....besides a few lowly pawns that can only go forward and can't even zap an opposing pawn in front of it. Kings hide scared until they hafta fight. Usually you can find them cowering in the corner shivering like a chihuahua....while the Queen does her dance - coordinating the attack. IOW's, most kings are useless ding dongs.

There you go....Come to think of it ?....the king has barely an idea as to what's going on on that board at any given time. He's as dumb as a doorbell.

I am guessing the OP doesnt know that the version we play now is "Mad queen chess", a variant that took hold.

The_Ghostess_Lola

Here's an perfect crown for a chessboard King. And jingle bells are a nice touch here....this way we know he's coming...doh dee doh dee doh....

I must defer to my learned colleague, Mr T "I pity the foo".
