Why more points lost than won?

I'm new here. I mean, how is the point calculated? When I lost,my points were like being robbed. When I won, +5 points? ? How ridiculous.

I didn't see any big ratings drops after any of your recent games.

What games in particular are you talking about? (date, opponent would be helpful)

Your raising losses or gains are calculated depending on your opp’s and your rating difference. The closer you are in rating, the more even the distribution. Most games will be:
+8 win
0 draw
-8 lose

If you don’t like playing people much lower than you because of this, you can set your challenge settings to a narrower rating range. Hope that helps !

Rating gain or losses are computed based on Elo difference of players playing a game. They use this method to negate the accumulation of points of stronger players by playing weaker players. Without this method, you may opt to play only weaker players to rise above the rest even though you did not become stronger.
