Hmm. I haven't used the library feature very much. You were able to take any puzzle, let's say the Daily Puzzle, and add it to your library?
Why my "add to library" button is gray?

Yes, aboslutely. Since the website does not have a "puzzle bookmarking" feature, I used to analysis the puzzle and save it to my library.

No. I just created a new account and everything worked fine. So maybe something is wrong with my account or personal settings.

Besides, I found that if I create a new analysis board, the "add to library" button is disabled as well. So it is not a puzzle only issue.

That's the way I did it. New analysis board, made some moves and added it to the library.

I did the same way, and cannot add to the library, frustrating. And I think someone encounters the same issue (https://www.chess.com/forum/view/site-feedback/cant-save-my-games-to-collections).

I tried again, thinking it could be language related and I still could add after changing my language. You might try clearing your browser cache. If that doesn't help, post the browser and browser version.

I almost tried everything: cleared the browser cache, used Edge instead of Chrome, and used a different computer, but still cannot add to the library. And if I logged in as a different user, everything works again. So I think is related to my account.
My browser version is Chrome 105.0.5195.102(64 bit, Windows).

yes i'm having the same issue and reported a bug. but i was able to work around this issue by viewing the game under my "stats>blitz" game profile. if you go under stats>blitz i can view all of my blitz games (this is what i'm tyirng studying). so if i view the game from stats>blitz i can view the game. however after i play a game, and am in review mode, i can the library is greyed out. but it is not greyed out unders the stats profile .
so how i was able to resolve this. is you can not add to the library under game review.
say you want to save a blitz game
you have to go to stats>blitz
when you view your profile of the games that you've won/lost you can add the game under the stats>blitz>gameXY where "gameXY" is the game you want to add. so i've added to the library by going to my profile. you can not merely add to the library under review mode or analysis mode, but you have to view the game under your profile.
Yeah but the issue is when you play an over the board game and want to add it to a library, you can only add a pgn but no comments or information on who the players were.
