why no choice in proximity

I prefer to play against people from certain countries. Chess.com should allow you to search for opponents in both live and online by proximity. Other sites allow it. On dating sites, you can search by proximity and include only certain countries. Even facebook pages allow visibilty to certain countries of your choice. Why chess.com does not allow it?
