Why no message when a draw off is rejected?

I have 2 outstanding draw offers. In one game, I can't imagine any result other than a draw. In the other game it looks very even to me but I could be wrong. I have gotten no indication that the draw offer was refused and guess I should assume rejection after my opponent made his next move? Did that move cancel the draw offer?

yes, your second move canceled the draw offer, and he refused.  Sorry.  

Thanks. I make a move, offer a draw, and if my opponent makes a move that means he has rejected my offer. I wasn't sure but that makes sense. I'm relearning the game after 40 years of not playing. My guess is I'll win one and lose one. I offered mainly because I'm trying to reduce the number of games I've got going.
